March 3rd
This class I learned how to contruct a contact microphone. Before this class I was not aware of what a compound microphone was exactly. A compound microphone is a microphone that picks up sounds upon contact with the mic. We made the microphones by stripping wires, bending them together, and then sodering a bond between them. I found this entire process interesting and I hope to record sounds with this newly developed mic.
